Tucker is a lifelong member of the St. George community with hands-on law enforcement and public safety experience. He currently serves as Public Safety Coordinator for the City of St. George.

Certified motorcycle deputy with professional experience in traffic crash reconstruction.

Commissioned as the City of St. George’s first reserve officer and now serves full-time as Public Safety Coordinator.

Meet Tucker

Tucker Sharer has deep roots in the St. George community. He grew up in Jefferson Terrace, attended Parkview Baptist from kindergarten through 12th grade, and went on to attend LSU, where he studied Political Science. The community he grew up in is the same one he has chosen to build his career serving and to call home.

Outside of work, Tucker enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Hannah, and their dog, Archie. For Tucker, serving District 5 is personal—it’s an opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape who he is today.

The Constable’s Office is a working office that requires reliability, sound judgment, and a willingness to be present when the job needs to be done. Tucker’s experience in law enforcement and public safety has prepared him for those responsibilities, while his lifelong connection to the St. George community gives him a personal understanding of the people and area he will serve.

For Tucker, this isn’t about simply holding an office. It’s about doing the work, serving District 5 well, and bringing the same commitment to the Constable’s Office that he has brought to public safety throughout his career.
